Watching the SBC Controversy on Social Justice and CRT

There is an ongoing battle over Social Justice and Critical Race Theory.  Southern Seminary that, by their own self-admission, has a history of racism at its founding is at the focal point of the controversy.  This link provides more information about what is going on.  Certainly, it is one side of the issue, but with the tendency of some historic fundamentalist institutions to re-approach fellowship with SBC churches and schools, it is worthwhile to keep an eye on this.  Southern Seminary has been a popular destination for many young fundamentalists and Al Mohler’s intelligence and eloquence have drawn a signficant following in that group.  Eyes need to be wide open.  (K Schaal)
