Dear sir
Thank you for your information on the Myrtle tree. I was reading a devotion from Springs in the valley, Mrs. Charles Cowman for May 25th, that when we go through life’s difficulties and trials, we can look at this beautiful tree that always springs back after fierce winters and winds. I know the Lord has shown me that when we stay with Him and lean on Him, we can be like these amazing trees. And now I read it was used for the feast of tabernacles. How appropriate God would use this tree to show us the tent we live in can be strong through Him and someday we will be not living in a tent. But a real foundation not a mortal body thank you!
My Bible class teacher gave us handout papers on Zechariah chapter one, and a question there asked what the Myrtle trees represented. Well, I had no clue, and the chapter gives no hint, so I came to the internet. Your description showed up, and now I have an answer for the teacher!
Thank you. The myrtle tree sounds lovely on several levels: fragrance, beautiful flowers, edible fruit; wish I could see it….. Maybe in Heaven.
