Podcast – Interview 44: Dan Brown – Why the Promises to Israel Matter Today

Our recent edition of FrontLine is called, “A Future for Israel.” This is a topic that is part of the core ideas of the FBFI, we are glad to be known as dispensationalists.

Our interview today is with Dan Brown, a senior professor and the chairman of the Practical Theology department at Faith Baptist Theological Seminary. His article is called, “Why the Promises to Israel Matter Today.” Of course, this is a very timely topic and I thoroughly enjoyed my conversation with Dr. Brown and I hope you find it helpful.

We talked about the value of right theology and how it affects how we live, then we got into the specifics of his article and ranged into some application to the contemporary situation with the nation of Israel.

We had a technical glitch a few minutes into the conversation. You will hear a bit of an echo on a couple of my comments. We stopped the recording there, made adjustments, and resumed. Hopefully the result is relatively seamless, apart from the brief echo.

Before we get to the interview, please consider subscribing to our Substack site as a way to get access to Dan Brown’s full FrontLine article on line right away. We appreciate those who are supporting our ministry by this means and encourage you to support us too.

This interview is the last from this issue of FrontLine. We will get into the next edition soon, but in the meantime we will be publishing messages from our Annual Meeting last June, held in Westminster, Colorado. We had some wonderful messages from our speakers this year, so we want to pass the blessing on to you. That’s coming up next week.
