Podcast – Interview 34: Arin Hess – Lobbying for Jesus
Welcome to the Proclaim & Defend podcast. I’m Don Johnson. My duties on the podcast are light for the next few weeks as we have Gordon Dickson hosting the interviews. I will just provide introductions.
Gordon was our Associate Editor for the Edition of FrontLine called, “Salt and Light in Your City and State.” You’ve already heard from him about his part in the magazine. This time he interviews my good friend Arin Hess about his article, “Lobbying for Jesus.”
Arin and I go back many years, I think to my freshman year at University. He had a long and fruitful ministry as a pastor in Nebraska but now serves in a unique ministry to the Nebraska state legislature as the legislative chaplain. I’ll let Gordon and Arin talk about this ministry in a moment, truly a unique opportunity to serve the Lord.
It isn’t possible for everyone to serve the Lord as a legislative chaplain, but God opens many doors for us all to serve.
