BYU removes ‘homosexual behavior’ as an honor code violation – CNN

When the Bible is not your authority, not only can you justify false doctrine, everything you believe and do is changeable.  (KSchaal).

Same-sex couples at Mormon-owned Brigham Young University have long been told they couldn’t hug, hold hands, kiss or date in public. If they did, they’d risk an investigation by the feared Honor Code Office, as well as punishment at their church or expulsion from school. But this week, a section of BYU’s student honor code that banned “homosexual behavior” on campus was quietly deleted. University officials are keeping details of the change vague, leaving LGBTQ students left to wonder if public displays of affection are now permitted.

Well, I guess this leaves Al Mohler in that jail cell all alone. I am reminded of Mohler’s excursion into Mormon land a few years ago to speak at BYU about the gay marriage issue and making the prediction that Mormons and he may well be sharing a jail cell together over this issue. Sadly, it just showed the naivete of Mohler concerning Mormons and their flexible teachings.
